American Idol Betting Down to the Final Five at SBG Global

American Idol betting fans will not be surprised to see Lambert favored in American Idol odds but it is somewhat surprising to see Kris Allen the third choice.

American Idol betting odds have seen Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey as the two favorites for most of the season but in recent weeks Lambert has distanced himself from the rest of the field.  He is now a big favorite to win in American Idol betting while Gokey is considered a distant second.  In fact, Gokey is just barely ahead of Kris Allen in American Idol odds.  The question now for gamblers who look at American Idol betting is whether or not Allen can displace Gokey and challenge Lambert for the title.

What is so surprising about Allen is that most people didn’t think he would even make it into the Final 12.  Now he is seen as perhaps the only threat to Lambert in American Idol betting.  Allen has definitely gained momentum in recent weeks in American Idol odds and while he probably won’t win he could be a surprise and surpass Gokey for second place.

The problem for Allen is that he does not have the flair of Lambert so he probably won’t get the votes to win but he sure has come from nowhere to make things interesting in American Idol betting. What people should remember about American Idol betting is that surprises can happen. Just last year it was David Cook beating David Archuleta in American Idol betting when that didn’t seem possible.

Lambert is still the overwhelming favorite in American Idol odds followed by Gokey, Allen, Allison Iraheta and Matt Giraud. Neither Iraheta nor Giraud is expected to be around much longer in American Idol betting with Giraud the heavy favorite to be the next one eliminated.

Many people that look at American Idol betting predicted a final of Lambert and Gokey long ago but that is no longer a given since Allen continues to rise while Gokey falls.
