American Idol Betting Says Bye to Paula

American Idol betting will be missing a very familiar face this year. Paula Abdul will be missed by American Idol odds fans.

American Idol betting fans have seen eight whole seasons of talent so far, and have watched the judges make tough decisions on who proceeds and who won’t be making it to the next round. Simon, Randy, and Paula have become the face of American Idol betting for nearly a decade.

American Idol betting is undergoing some unexpected changes, though. Last year we saw a new judge step in, Kara DioGuardi. This year, however, the American Idol odds will not be featuring Paula Abdul. Paula has decided not to return to American Idol betting, and a much unexpected replacement was found to take over. Who’s taking her place judging the American Idol odds, you ask? Why, none other than the extremely overly qualified music connoisseur, Ellen Degeneres.

Are you serious? Randy Jackson is a musician, music manager, and a former exec for Artist and Repertoire (A&R), Kara DioGuardi was a musician herself, even Simon is an executive for A&R so he has something to do with music. But of all people, Ellen Degeneres? What does she have to do with music? American Idol betting fans are all asking each other, what kind of ability does she have to find musical talent? The answer is: none. The closest Ellen has gotten to putting out a CD is an album of her stand-up comedy routines.

Fans all over think that Ellen doesn’t belong in American Idol betting.

But why did Paula leave? There had been some controversy surrounding Paula Abdul during her time in American Idol betting. But apart from alleged substance abuse and an accusation of having an affair with a contestant back in Season 2 of American Idol odds, Paula’s been quite the star on the show.

Apparently, Paula felt she was under appreciated on the show. But not only was she under appreciated, she felt she was underpaid. Where other American Idol betting judges had received substantial raises, she was offered much less than what she thought she was worth. Maybe she felt as if the producers didn’t want her back on the show. At least that’s the way it seems. Three weeks before the start of the 9th season of American Idol betting, she still hadn’t signed a contract.

So maybe her controversies were a liability to the success of the show. Maybe American Idol betting needed to see a new face. But a vast majority of American Idol betting fans will agree that Ellen just doesn’t fit in the American Idol odds equation.
