Season 8 American Idol Odds Race at SBG Global

American Idol odds have the spotlight on a few singers that lead the pack.  Let’s consider each of the 13 finalists as you bet on American Idol.

American Idol odds show quite a few longshots that have no real chance.  Michael Sarver has the biggest American Idol odds at about 50-1 so he is the likeliest to be eliminated first.  He does not have the voice that wins in American Idol odds.  If he doesn’t get eliminated first then the first one to go in American Idol odds should be Kris Allen.  He really shouldn’t have made it this far and won’t be around long.

Anoop Desai has some weird appeal but probably doesn’t have the voice to win. Scott MacIntyre is listed at about 10-1 which is really too low.  He is not that good and is overvalued by those that bet on American Idol. Jasmine Murray has a nice voice and could stay around awhile.  At 30-1 she is definitely a longshot though.

Megan Joy Corkrey is the beauty of the group but she probably doesn’t have the voice to win. Jorge Nuñez has a very nice voice but probably doesn’t have enough versatility to win in American Idol odds. Matt Giraud is an interesting longshot for gamblers who bet on American Idol.  He has some real talent but he may not have the public’s votes.

There are definitely some favorites in American Idol odds. Adam Lambert has taken over the lead in this role but he is not a given to win for gamblers who bet on American Idol.  He does have a solid voice and is a polished performer.  Danny Gokey is also a favorite in American Idol odds and is a fan favorite as well.  There are also three women that have a shot in American Idol odds. Allison Iraheta has a great voice and could easily steal this year’s show. Alexis Grace has a great voice as well and it would not be a shock to see her win. Lil Rounds has appeal but whether or not she can expand her talents beyond R&B is another story.

The American Idol odds for a man to win are listed at -170 while the odds on a woman winning are +130.
