Marathon Moved to Friday in Breeders Cup Wagering
The reason for the switch was so that a Pick Six will be available on Friday in Breeders Cup betting as well as Saturday.

The distance was also changed as the horses will now be going a brutal mile and three quarters. Following the Marathon on Friday in Breeders Cup wagering it will be the Juvenile Fillies Turf for 2 Year Old Fillies. The third race in Friday’s Pick Six at the sports book will be the Filly & Mare Sprint as horses for 7 furlongs. The Juvenile Fillies is the fourth race on Friday in Breeders Cup wagering as 2 Year Old Fillies go a mile and 1/16th. The Filly & Mare Turf is the fifth race in on Friday Breeders Cup wagering as horses go a mile and a quarter. The finale of the Friday Breeders Cup betting Pick Six is the $3 Million dollar Ladies’ Classic.
Saturday’s Breeders Cup wagering at the sportsbook begins early with the Juvenile Turf at 1:45 pm Eastern. The Turf Sprint is next in Breeders Cup wagering at approximately 2:23 pm Eastern time. The third race on the Saturday Breeders Cup betting card is the Dirt Mile. Those three races have $1 million dollar purses. The next three races all have $2 Million dollar purses. The fourth race of the day in Breeders Cup wagering is the Juvenile as 2 Year Old Colts & Geldings go a mile and 1/16th. It is followed by the Mile on the Turf in Breeders Cup wagering. The Sprint is next as 3 Year Olds & Up go 6 furlongs. The final two races have the biggest purses. The Turf is a $3 million dollar race for 3 Year Old & Ups.
The finale in Breeders Cup wagering at the sports book will be the $5 Million dollar Breeders Cup Classic as 3 Year Old & Ups go a mile and a quarter.
