MLB Baseball Betting at SBG Global

MLB baseball betting is based on money lines which means no point spreads are involved. SBG Global offers up to 295% in bonuses for MLB baseball betting.

MLB betting lines provide options to bet sides, totals and run lines. Let’s look at each of these baseball betting choices. Baseball betting choices begin with choosing one team or another. A typical MLB betting line might look like this:

901 San Diego Padres +140 9 over
902 St. Louis Cardinals -160

If you were to place a wager on the Cardinals in baseball gambling you would be putting up $160 in order to win $100 (or any amount you choose based on the 16:10 ratio). If you like the Padres in MLB odds you would be betting $100 in order to win $140. You could, again, wager on baseball any amount you choose and get paid the 10:14 equivalent if you won. You receive your winnings plus your original bet in baseball betting.

The numbers on the left are called rotation numbers. They are used to refer to that particular game in baseball betting. Those are the numbers you see in the printed schedule or on the sportsbook screen. It is also the number you call out to the clerk if you are placing your baseball bet via telephone.

The total on the game is listed next to the online baseball betting odds, and in the Padres-Cardinals example shown above, it is 9 over. In this example, if you like the game to go over the total, you are laying $120 to win $100 in MLB betting. If you like the game to go under, you risk $100 to win $100 in baseball betting. You can, again, risk any amount you choose with the 12:10 or even money equivalents in baseball betting. You receive in return your original bet, and in addition, your winnings if in fact your choice is a winner.

The other option that is listed with baseball betting is the run line. It is usually listed right with the other two MLB betting choices. In the previous example you might have St. Louis at -1.5 and +120 while San Diego would be +1.5 and -140 in baseball betting. This is also a money line wager in baseball betting but instead of just having to win the game to collect you either lay 1.5 or receive 1.5 runs on your baseball betting wager.
