Miami-Ohio at Temple College Football Betting Line

This is not the same Temple team of previous seasons as the Owls are already bowl-eligible as they have six wins.  They have won six straight for the first time since 1974 and are a deserving favorite against Miami of Ohio in college football odds.

College football betting line had Temple coming from behind last week to defeat Navy 27-24.  Bernard Pierce has been running over teams this season for the Owls.  He has 1033 yards on the season and a school record 11 TDs for a freshman.   He has two straight games with more than 200 yards and that is the first time a Temple player did that since Paul Palmer in 1986.  He outrushed the entire Navy team last week.

Temple should go to a bowl game this season and that would be something to watch on the college football betting line. The last time Temple went to a bowl game was in 1979 in the Garden State Bowl where the Owls beat Cal, 28-17 in college football odds.

Miami of Ohio finally got their first win of the college football betting line season last week as they came back to defeat Toledo 31-24. Miami survived on the college football betting line as Toledo had a chance to tie but fumbled through the end zone to give Miami the win.

Temple has simply been a great team versus the college football betting line this season. They are 6-2 straight up and 6-1 against the college football odds. They are 2-1 versus the college football betting line at home and 4-0 on the road.  Four of their seven games this season that have been on the board have gone over the college football betting line.  Temple wins versus the college football betting line with rushing and defense as they are in the Top 50 in the country in rushing and their defense is now in the top 25 in fewest yards allowed.
