Just below the break even mark at 7-8-1 for football betting players were the Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. The Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings were 7-9 against the NFL betting lines in 2006. The Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers were 6-9-1. The Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions and Oakland Raiders were 6-10 against the NFL betting lines while the Washington Redskins were 5-9-2. The Denver Broncos were the worst team in 2006 against the NFL betting lines going 5-11. Since it is rare that teams have two very poor seasons against the spread, the Denver Broncos might be worth a look during the 2007 NFL season.
