Philadelphia Eagles 2006 Review

2007 football betting Preview: This 2007 football betting season, the Philadelphia Eagles will depend upon quarterback Donovan McNabb to bounce back from injury. The Eagles still have a solid defense led by Jevon Kearse but they did lose SS Michael Lewis in the off-season. Philadelphia is a great road team.

They are 31-19 against the spread, rewarding football betting players the past six NFL betting years. Andy Reid has done nothing but win in Philadelphia but still has not gotten over the hump and into the Super Bowl. Although the Eagles are talented they may not win a championship until McNabb is replaced at quarterback and this football betting season is not the exception.

The 2007 football betting schedule includes home/away games with their NFC East Division rivals of Dallas, NY Giants, and Washington. The NFL betting schedule also features games against the NFC North and the AFC East. Here is a look at the 2007 football betting Schedule for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Offense: This NFL betting season the offense is led by quarterback Donovan McNabb and running back Brian Westbrook. Last year McNabb went down with injury and the offense actually got better. This 2007 football betting will be a true test to see if the Eagles are actually better off with or without McNabb. Westbrook is the offensive catalyst and is one of the most underrated players in the league. Kevin Curtis was signed in the off-season and should help the receiving corps.

Defense: The defense was poor last NFL betting season against the run but should be better in the 2007 football betting season. A healthy Jevon Kearse will help as will new draft picks, defensive end Victor Abiamiri out of Notre Dame and linebacker Stewart Bradley from Nebraska.

Forecast: Most experts believe it is do or die with McNabb for the Eagles. That may not be the case though as the Eagles took Kevin Kolb in the draft and may start grooming him as McNabb’s replacement. Philadelphia is well coached, makes few mistakes, and always is in the game. That should be the case again in the 2007 football betting season.
