2009 Totals in NFL Odds

If one team does their job you can still win a bet. If both teams do as expected you can win easily. Another plus is that not as many people wager on totals versus NFL odds and that can sometimes give you value. One drawback to a total is that turnovers and unexpected things can impact the outcome. But that happens with sides as well.
