AFC NFL Preseason Schedule at SBG Global Sports Betting

As you look at your AFC NFL preseason betting this season the most important thing to remember is that quarterback rotations are a huge key.

Teams that are deep at the quarterback position are usually the teams that cover the NFL betting pointspread in the preseason.  Let’s consider the quarterback rotations for each team in the AFC for NFL preseason betting.  The Baltimore Ravens have Steve McNair who will not get a lot of playing time since they know what he can do.  Kyle Boller is a capable backup and Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith should get a lot of work as the #3 QB.

Those two will probably decide how the NFL betting goes in the preseason.  Cincinnati has Carson Palmer who will not get much work in the NFL preseason betting.

Doug Johnson is the main backup and Jeff Rowe is #3 so NFL betting players may not want to bet the Bengals.  Cleveland has a mess at the quarterback position but they do have players that want to win the starting job and that is important in the preseason as you look at football betting lines.  Charlie Frye and Derek Anderson are the two competing for the job until Brady Quinn gets into camp.  Pittsburgh has Ben Roethlisberger with Charlie Batch as the backup and Brian St. Pierre as #3 so things should be similar for NFL preseason betting fans.

Buffalo has J.P. Losman as the starter but weak backups as you look at NFL betting lines.  Craig Nall is #2 and Trent Edwards is #3 and they don’t inspire much confidence when looking at NFL betting lines.   Miami has Trent Green as #1 while John Beck and Cleo Lemon look for the backup spot as you consider football betting lines. New England has Tom Brady who doesn’t need much work.  Mass Cassel is the backup and Vinny Testaverde is #3 as you consider NFL betting lines.

The Jets have Chad Pennington as #1 with Kellen Clemens and Marques Tuiasosopo as the backups as you look at football betting lines.  Houston will have Matt Schaub as the starter and he should get some time in the preseason to learn the system, so keep that in mind as you look at football betting lines.  Sage Rosenfels is the backup with Bradlee Van Pelt, Quinton Porter and Jared Zabransky as the backups.  The Colts have Peyton Manning who won’t get much playing time in the preseason followed by Jim Sorgi and John Navarre, so not much changes for NFL betting preseason fans look at the Colts.

Jacksonville has Byron Leftwich as the starter with David Garrard as the backup.  Quinn Gray is #3.  The Jaguars could be a good NFL betting wager in the preseason.  Tennessee Has Vince Young followed by Kerry Collins and Tim Rattay and they could be a good bet for football betting players.  Denver has Jay Cutler followed by Patrick Ramsey and Preston Parsons and might be an interesting NFL betting wager.  Kansas City has Brodie Croyle has an unproven starter with Damon Huard and Casey Printers to follow so they may be a good go-against in NFL preseason betting. Oakland has top pick JaMarcus Russell but Josh McCown will probably start the season as #1.  Andrew Walter is also part of the picture for NFL preseason betting fans.  San Diego has Phillip Rivers as #1 followed by Billy Volek and Charlie Whitehurst for preseason NFL betting fans to consider.
