AFC South NFL Draft Odds at SBG Global

NFL Draft odds for the AFC South have the Jacksonville Jaguars picking 8th, the Houston Texans 15th, the Indianapolis Colts 27th and the Tennessee Titans 30th.

Let’s take a look at each of these teams in NFL Draft betting and their possible first round picks.

NFL Draft odds for the Jacksonville Jaguars are some of the most hotly debated ones.  The Jaguars could USC quarterback Mark Sanchez with this NFL Draft betting pick or they could take a receiver.  If Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree or Missouri’s Jeremy Maclin are on the NFL Draft odds board they could be a possibility for Jacksonville at #8 in NFL Draft odds.  If the Jaguars don’t go with a receiver then they might go with Boston College defensive tackle B.J. Raji.

Houston has the 15th pick in NFL Draft odds and their likely selection is going to be on defense. The Texans still have defensive needs, especially at cornerback.  It is possible that either Vontae Davis of Illinois or Ohio State's Malcolm Jenkins could be available in NFL Draft odds with this pick.  The Texans also need a linebacker and might look at USC’s Brian Cushing or Clay Matthews Jr.  If they decide to go on offense they might take a reach with a running back like Ohio State’s Chris Wells.

Indianapolis has the 27th overall pick in NFL Draft odds and they have some needs.  They definitely could use a receiver to join the big three of Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark and Anthony Gonzalez.   They could also also use some interior line help on both sides of the ball.  Most NFL Draft betting experts believe that Maryland’s Darrius Heyward-Bey will probably be gone but North Carolina’s Hakeem Nicks or Rutgers’ Kenny Britt may still be available in NFL Draft odds.

Tennessee picks just behind Indianapolis at #30 in NFL Draft odds and they need a receiver as well. They might take a shot with one of the above mentioned receivers or they might take a shot with defensive help at linebacker or cornerback in NFL Draft odds.

The AFC South continues to improve and that means their NFL Draft odds get lower.  Instead of having a lot of top picks, two of their teams are picking near the bottom in NFL Draft betting.  Jacksonville shouldn’t be down for long so they should take advantage of a rare Top 10 pick in NFL Draft odds.
