Arizona Cardinals at Chicago NFL Betting

It should be a very competitive football betting contest between two playoff contenders in the NFC.  The Bears are coming off a very nice win last week against Cleveland and they will want to continue their home success in this game against Arizona.

NFL betting stats indicated that the Bears have won the last three meetings between the two teams although they are 1-1-1 against the football betting pointspread in those games.  The teams last met three years ago in Arizona and the Bears came away with a 24-23 win. The last meeting between the two in Chicago was in 2003 as the Bears won 28-3 in football betting.  Two of the last three games between the two have gone under the NFL betting total.

In last week’s NFL betting win the Bears got two touchdowns from running back Matt Forte while quarterback Jay Cutler threw for 225 yards. The Bears are 3-0 at home this season and they have won six straight at home going back to last season. The Bears' defense allowed its lowest point and yardage total of the football betting season.   That may not be saying much though since it was against the Cleveland Browns who have one of the worst offenses in the NFL.  The Bears are in almost a must-win situation in this game simply because of their schedule.  After this game the Bears have games against the 49ers, Eagles and Vikings.  With a win against Arizona they would be in good shape going into the next three games but a loss would put them in a difficult position.

Arizona is suddenly having problems on defense so the Bears may have some success this week moving the ball. Arizona couldn’t stop the rushing game of Carolina last week and they could have trouble against Forte and the Bears. The issue for Chicago will be containing Arizona quarterback Kurt Warner and his talented receivers.  The Cardinals are capable of scoring a lot of points so this could be a high scoring game in NFL betting.

Arizona is actually 3-0 against the NFL betting number on the road this season which is a change from past seasons when they struggled away from home.  The Bears are 3-0 at home in NFL betting so this game has all the makings of a very competitive one this Sunday.
