2007 Outlook
Key Signing: RB Marshawn Lynch (draft)

Key Players: QB J.P. Losman, RB Marshawn Lynch
2007 Preview: The 2007 Buffalo Bills head into their 38th season looking to improve upon last year’s 7-9 record. They are looking to make the playoffs for the first time since the 1999-2000 football betting season. The bad news for the Buffalo Bills is that they did nothing in the off-season to improve and actually took some steps backwards with the losses of McGahee, Spikes, Fletcher and Clements. Only running back Marshawn Lynch was added and all he can do is replace the loss of McGahee.
The 2007 football betting schedule includes home/away games with their AFC East Division rivals of New England, Miami and the New York Jets. The Bills also have games against the AFC South, AFC North and NFC East this season which makes their schedule difficult considering Dallas, Philadelphia and the New York Giants are considered playoff contenders. It also doesn’t help in nfl betting that the Bills open up against AFC West power, the Denver Broncos..

Offense: The offense revolves around quarterback J.P. Losman and that is not always good news. Losman is up and down and oftentimes makes more mistakes than he should. The Bills lose running back McGahee so unless Lynch steps in right away the offense is going to struggle. Lee Evans is an excellent wide receiver but getting him the ball is not always easy.
Defense: The defense could take a huge step back in 2007. Losing three starters is not easy for any team and not much was done to replace Spikes, Fletcher or Clements. With the offense looking about the same as last year, the defense will be expected to play well again and that does not look as likely in 2007.
Forecast: On paper the 2007 Buffalo Bills are going to struggle. They lose their top running back, three NFL stalwarts on defense and did very little to upgrade in the off-season. What makes things worse for the Buffalo Bills is a brutal schedule that looks to be one of the toughest in the NFL.
