Chicago Bears NFL Odds at SBG Global

Chicago has a lot of holes to patch up if they expect to regain their NFL Odds success. NFL Odds in 2007 had the Bears going 9-7 in terms of over/under NFL Game Odds. The Bears had trouble offensively in 2007 as they couldn’t get any consistent play at quarterback or at running back.

Rex Grossman continually frustrates gamblers that bet NFL Odds but he is the best option the Bears have at the moment. The running game was a total bust as Cedric Benson didn’t have the speed or talent to carry the load. Things probably aren’t going to get any better for the Bears on offense considering they lost one of their only playmakers, Bernard Berrian to Minnesota in the off-season. They also released veteran wide out Muhsin Muhammad. The defense has a lot of talent and consistently impacts NFL Game Odds but they did not play up to their potential in 2007. They could use help in the defensive line and in the secondary if they want to improve versus NFL Game Odds.

NFL Odds show that the Bears ranked 27th in total yards in the NFL yet they ranked 18th in scoring according to NFL Odds numbers. They can thank Devin Hester for that. The defense had similar numbers as they were a pathetic 28th in yards allowed according to NFL Odds stats yet they were 16th in points allowed according to NFL Odds numbers. The team made a bad move signing Adam Archuleta and now need to look in the draft for a safety.

NFL Odds on Chicago will probably be tough to predict in 2008. The Bears have a lot of holes though. They get by and win games by special teams, turnovers and some luck. They need help at quarterback, running back, receiver, defensive line and at safety if they are to impact NFL Odds. Filling all of those holes in one season is a lot to ask so the Bears may struggle again in NFL Odds in 2008.
