2007 Football Betting Season Preview: The offense for Cincinnati looks unstoppable at times. The problem is the defense looks terrible at times. The defense finished near the bottom of the league in yards allowed and the offense just could not make up for it. Quarterback Carson Palmer has a great set of receivers and the offense should again be superb. The question will be whether or not the defense will play well enough to be a serious contender for 2007 football betting season.
The 2007 football betting schedule includes home/away games with their AFC North Division rivals of Baltimore, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. The Bengals also get the weaker NFC West along with the AFC East. The Bengals football betting schedule in 2007 looks manageable.

Offense: Carson Palmer can dominate at times throwing the ball and receivers Houshmanzadeh and Johnsons are superb. Running back Rudi Johnson is a solid runner and overall the offense can be very explosive. The offense could use another receiving option and a pass catching tight end, but overall the unit can put up a lot of points, which is good for NFL betting players.
Defense: The defense has problems. They gave up a ton of yards, couldn’t stop the pass and gave up too many big plays. The secondary was a disaster but the drafting of CB Leon Hall should provide immediate help. The problem is that the defense is still a weak link and must improve if the team is to make major playoff noise in football betting.
Forecast: The Cincinnati Bengals are a team that can beat anyone at anytime. The problem is that they can also lose at anytime. This makes them dangerous, but exciting when looking at football betting odds. Carson Palmer must stay healthy if the Bengals are to contend. The defense also must show vast improvement if the Bengals are to win the division and contend for the playoffs in 2007 NFL betting season.
