2007 Outlook
Key Signings: None
Key Losses: RB Ahman Green
Key Player: QB Brett Favre
2007 Football Betting Season Preview: Brett Favre is still the quarterback in Green Bay and that may not be good news for Packers football betting fans. Favre has a great arm and always puts up numbers but he throws way too many interceptions (18 in 2006 football betting season) and also fumbles the ball. Favre is not young enough to win games by himself and he still tries to do that. The Packers let Ahman Green leave and they will need someone to step into that void.
The 2007 football betting schedule includes home/away games with their NFC North Division rivals of Chicago, Detroit and Minnesota. The Green Bay Packers also have games against the AFC West along with the NFC East. The NFL betting schedule is not easy for Green Bay players and football betting fans and nearly every game outside of the division is a game they will be an underdog in football betting odds except for the home game against Oakland. The public and NFL betting fans are still in love with Brett Favre, and the Packers are on National TV four times, once on Monday Night Football, once on Sunday Night Football, once on the NFL Network and on Thanksgiving against Detroit.

Offense: The sad part for the Green Bay Packers and their football betting fans is that the offense still revolves around Brett Favre. His best days are behind him and it is time for the Packers and NFL betting players to move forward. The running game is in no better shape. Ahman Green is gone and some people believe that Vernand Morency is the answer but he has never done anything and will be a bust if given the lead role. The Packers have to hope that 2nd round draft pick Brandon Jackson out of Nebraska is the answer or they will have no running game.
The wide receivers are okay led by Donald Driver but they have no real explosive option other than Driver to be a good football betting pick. Defense: The defense actually played pretty well for the Green Bay Packers in 2006 football betting season but they are oftentimes asked to do too much after Favre puts them in bad positions. They have no real dominant star on defense other than Hawk and they are not a defense capable of winning games on their own according to football betting experts and handicappers. That is a real problem considering the Green Bay offense is not one of the league’s best.
Forecast: It is not really a pretty picture for football betting at Green Bay. Favre is over the hill, they have no running game unless Jackson saves them, and the defense is just average. Getting to 8-8 again will be a struggle because the schedule does them and football betting players no favors in 2007.
