Kansas City Chiefs at Washington Bet on Football

The Redskins are laying almost a touchdown to the Chiefs in NFL betting even though things look to be coming apart in Washington.

Bet on football odds have the Redskins as a 6.5 point favorite with a total of 37.5. Washington head coach Jim Zorn is on his way out and quarterback Jason Campbell is not long for the job either. It puts pressure on the entire team when a head coach and the starting quarterback are not likely to return next season. “I feel bad and I’m hurting,” Redskins head coach Jim Zorn said, “Our team is as well.” The Washington offensive line is a mess and the only player who looks to be worth anything on offense is running back Clinton Portis and he is unhappy.

The Chiefs have not played that well this bet on football season either but they have at least shown some interest. They nearly beat Dallas last week before losing in overtime. The Chiefs could be poised for a nice effort in this bet on football matchup.

The Redskins really should have a better record than they do considering they have played a lot of winless teams. In fact, the Redskins will be playing their sixth straight game on Sunday against a team that is winless. Obviously in Week 1 both teams are winless but in Week 2 they faced the 0-1 Rams, in Week 3 the 0-2 Lions, in Week 4 the 0-3 Bucs and last week the 0-4 Panthers. Could the Redskins give another winless team a victory in NFL betting on Sunday?

Sunday’s bet on football matchup is the first of four games that Washington will play against the AFC West this season. Since 2003, they are 7-17 against the AFC. The Chiefs are 0-3 against the NFC East so far this season. Washington and Kansas City have played seven times in the regular season, with the Chiefs holding a 6-1 series lead.

Kansas City has been a very poor bet on football underdog of late, losing five of their last six in NFL betting. The Redskins though have been terrible as a favorite, losing five of their last six in that bet on football role with one tie.
