Online Craps Glossary
Online craps bets begin with the two basic bets, Pass Line and Don’t Pass Line.
Pass Line Bets - When the "shooter" rolls a 7 or 11 on the first throw it is referred to as a "natural" and the Pass Line bet is an immediate winner. If 2, 3 or 12 are rolled the Pass Line bet is a loser. Any other number that is rolled becomes what is known as the "Point" in online craps. If that number is rolled again in online craps before a 7 is rolled then the bet is a winner. If not, it loses.
Don't Pass Line Bets - This is the opposite of betting the "Pass Line." You lose on a 7 or 11, and win if a 2 or 3 are rolled in online craps. If a 12 comes out it is a tie. If the dice roll 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 it is know as the "Point" in online craps and if a 7 is rolled before that number the bet wins. If not, it loses in online craps.
Come Bets - These bets are made after the “Come-out” roll. You are betting with the dice just like the Pass Line bet in online craps.
Don't Come Bets -The opposite of the “Come” bets when playing craps online. You lose on a 7 or 11, and win on a 2 or 3 while 12 is a tie. This is just like the Don’t Pass bet.
Hard way Bets - There are four hard way bets in online craps: 4, 6, 8 and 10. - To win the dice must show that pair before a 7 is rolled or any other combination of the hard way number when playing craps online.
Place Bets - You may make a "Place Bet" any time on any or all of the following numbers: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. If the number you have "placed" comes up before a 7 you win the place bet when playing craps online.
Field Bets - This is a one-roll bet that can be made on any roll of the dice in online craps. If a 3, 4, 9, 10 or 11 comes next then you win and are paid at even money. If a 2 or 12 is rolled you win and are paid double but the most common numbers of 5, 6, 7 and 8 are losers for the Field bet in online craps.
