Tennis Betting - ATP Tour Open de Tenis Comunidad Valenciana

Tennis betting on the ATP Tour’s Valencia Open should be exciting as a quality field is set to battle it out.

Those that bet on tennis may remember that this tournament last year was a spring event but this year it is a big tournament as players attempt to qualify for the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

Tennis betting for this tournament which begins in the first week of November will have a number of contenders. One of the players that really needs a good week is Nikolay Davydenko who has lost in the first round the last three teams he has played at Valencia.  Another player that needs to produce this week if he is to make the season finale is Fernando Verdasco who won this event in 2004. The defending tennis betting champion of this event is David Ferrer who beat Nicolas Almagro last year.

The previous players that were mentioned may be tennis betting contenders this week but they are not going to be the favorite. That bet on tennis role goes to World #4 Andy Murray who will play in the Valencia Open 500 for the first time.  He tops the 32-man field that includes five of the World's Top 10 players. Murray is returning from a wrist injury and will draw a lot of tennis betting attention.  He is not the only player that has a chance to win this week though as this tourney has a very talented field.

Other top players that will be popular for those that bet on tennis include Andry Roddick and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.  Also popular in tennis betting should be Gilles Simon. There is no question that Spanish players will be popular in this tennis betting tournament.  Verdasco, Ferrer, Tommy Robredo, Juan Carlos Ferrero should get some attention from those that bet on tennis.  Other local tennis betting favorites will be Feliciano López, Nicolás Almagro, Albert Montañés and Guillermo García-López.

There are other tennis betting contenders as well including Sweden's Robin Soderling and France’s Gael Monfils.  Also on the tennis betting board this week will be the Czech Republic’s Tomas Berdych, Paul-Henri Mathieu, Juan Monaco, Igor Andreev and Janko Tipsarevic.

The Valencia Open 500 is the last of the ATP World Tour 500 in tennis betting and is a big one for those players looking to get into the season finale later in November.
