UFC Odds vs. Boxing Odds
It’s become very evident in the past few years that the new kid is threatening to overtake the wily vet as demand for UFC betting odds continues to grow. These two sports, both based on hand to hand combat are two very different animals and in the long run UFC odds look like they’re set on a trajectory to wipe boxing odds off the face of the earth.
UFC odds are now widely available and are reaching a point where they are arguably more accessible than boxing odds in the online sports books. For fans new to the world of UFC odds that might not seem that unusual of a statement but for anyone that has been involved with sports wagering for any length of time it’s very weird. There was a time not all that long ago that idea of UFC betting odds being more popular than boxing odds would have sounded ridiculous. But time has proven otherwise and now UFC betting odds are everywhere. And that’s the reason why boxing is dying while UFC odds are thriving. Boxing is one-dimensional while the UFC odds fighting is multi-faceted and fast-paced.
Fans today don’t want to see boxers play out their strategy; they’d rather see fighters in the UFC betting odds beat each other’s brains in. The UFC odds fights are also much quicker with none of them going more than a few rounds whereas the boxing can last up to 12 rounds.
Boxing had its day in the sun and unfortunately it looks more and more like that day has ended. But so long as there remain terrific entities like the UFC odds fighting to take its place it will not be the end of sport betting on fights.
