Wagering on UFC Odds

Wagering on UFC betting odds is not that complicated so let’s take a look.

UFC odds can be wagered on at most sportsbook around the world on a regular basis.  With UFC betting odds you have a money line. It is similar to what you would see in baseball or hockey or in some other sports like soccer or even golf or auto racing with the matchups. For example, you might have a big name fighter in a high profile UFC event facing another big name fighter. Let’s say that Fighter A was -200 and Fighter B was +170.  You lay 2-1 on Fighter A and get +170 on Fighter B in UFC odds. So you would risk $200 to win $100 on the first fighter or the 2-1 equivalent and win $170 for every $100 wagered on Fighter B in UFC odds.

Money lines change on a regular basis in all forms of online sports betting and that is the case with UFC odds as well. If a lot of money comes in on the favorite then the sportsbook will move the UFC betting odds.  Take that last example. If people loved the favorite in UFC odds then the number might move to -220 or perhaps even -250.  Keep in mind though that you get the UFC odds that are listed when you bet, not the closing number.  What you see at the time of your wager in UFC odds is what you are getting with your wager.

With high profile fights you can sometimes get a round option as well although this is not as popular as the side option in UFC odds.  Most fights don’t last long in UFC betting odds so it is tough to put out a round option. Usually the online sports betting sites will stick to just putting out a money line on each of the fights.
