United Football League Betting Odds

United Football League betting odds should attract some attention simply for the fact that they are new and because it is NFL style football. United Football League betting will probably be popular with the wise guys but not with the public or the sportsbooks. Information is usually critical with new leagues and that gives the online betting gambler the advantage over the sportsbook early in the season and that could be the case with UFL odds.

The 2009 United Football League betting season will be a short one as the league is just using 2009 as a “Showcase” season. Only four teams will be playing in the first season of UFL betting. UFL odds will be on the board in October and they will wrap up with the Championship game in Las Vegas in late November.

UFL football betting will be taking place for the first time in 2009.

UFL odds will be available for the games on Thursday and Friday’s. The league does not want to go against the NFL so they are keeping games on those two days. That should help the popularity of UFL football odds since they will not be going against NFL odds.

UFL Football betting on this inaugural season will feature teams in Las Vegas, New York, Orlando and San Francisco. United Football League betting might also see games in Los Angeles, Sacramento and Hartford this season. United Football League betting information tells us that former NFL head coaches Dennis Green, Jim Fassel, Jim Haslett and Ted Cottrell will be at the helm of the new teams.

UFL football betting will be trying to succeed where past leagues have failed. The AFL, World Football League, USFL, Arena Football League, World League of American Football and the XFL all tried to compete with the NFL and failed. The UFL believes they can stand the test of time though and gamblers that bet on UFL action might be surprised.

"We're funded very well and we have all of the elements in place," UFL commissioner Michael Huyghue said. "People who love football will see that the quality of our product will be better than what most people think of developmental football," Huyghue said, "And the coaches that we've hired should speak to the quality that we'll have. Jim Fassel and Dennis Green aren't coaching in the Arena Football League. And we're built to attract some great talent because the NFL doesn't have room on all of its rosters."

UFL odds at the sportsbook will definitely be interesting to follow in this inaugural season.
